· Headache

Cause:
There are hundreds of reasons that might cause headache. A small number of them are due to extravasated blood caused by injury, brain tumor and increased brain pressure, etc. More than 90% of them are long hours of using computer, poor posture, lack of sleep and overwork that all can injure the cervical vertebrae resulting headache.

Dislocation of cervical vertebrae can affect the joints to swell and narrow the spinal nerve. The narrowed nerve gives extra pressure to the blood vessels. An insufficient supply of blood can harden the tendons plus give headache.

Theory:
First and foremost, it is needed to find out the source of the pain and check the possibilities of hypertension, blood stagnation by trauma and brain tumor, stiff neck and cervical spine dislocation. By adopting the Shaolin adjustment, the joints can be restored to enhance blood circulation and hence release the pain.

Treatment:
Firstly, to relax the muscles by pressing at the back; secondly, to press different acupuncture points i.e. jianjing, fengchi, baihui, etc.; then to adopt the Shaolin adjustment of the thoracic and cervical vertebrae and the Japan Isogai Dynamic Therapy for examining the pain; finally, it ends up by loosening the muscles of the affected area.

*Treatment varies from different person, depending on individual constitution.
