Cause:
Shoulder & neck pain is usually caused by urbanite works for a long period of time with improper posture which generates a high muscle tension. It induces a high pressure on the neck and shoulder thus dislocates the joints that lead to pain. Here are some common causes:
1. Poor posture
2. Lack of sleep
3. Overwork
4. Long time maintaining the head forward
Theory:
An injury to the cervical vertebrae can pinch nerves that can cause both neck pain and shoulder pain. Therefore, adjustment of joints is the key to enhance the blood circulation for recovery.
Treatment:
Firstly, to relax the muscles by pressing at the back; secondly, to press different acupuncture points i.e. jianjing, dazhu, quepan, etc.; then to adopt the Shaolin adjustment of the thoracic and cervical vertebraefor examining the pain; finally, it ends up by loosening the muscles of the affected area.
