Cause:
Except for accidental injury by a strike or fall, the chief reason for the pain is the overuse of joints at the low back. As the low back is one of the major parts to support the whole human body, in addition to overuse, improper posture, obesity, etc. would lead to prolapsed intervertebral disc and give rise to sciatic pain.
Theory:
The first step is to improve the blood circulation and enhance the elasticity of the low back by relaxing the spinal joints. After adopting the Shaolin adjustment of lumbar vertebrae, the joints can be restored to become natural and balance conditions. The spinal manipulation can reduce the strain suffered by the back whereby it can release the pain effectively.
Treatment:
Firstly, to relax the muscles by pressing at the back; secondly, to press different acupuncture points i.e. huantiao, shenshu, weizhong, etc.; then to adopt the Shaolin adjustment of lumbar vertebrae and the Japan Isogai Dynamic Therapy for examining the pain; finally, it ends up by loosening the muscles of the affected area.
